How It Works

Faux finishes use a tinted glaze over a dried base coat. Standard glaze mix is 1 part paint to 3 parts glaze medium (glazing liquid). Color washing uses the thinnest glaze and most product. Rag rolling creates a soft leather look. Sponging uses the least product. Always practice on cardboard first. Work in 4-foot sections to keep a wet edge.
